Abstract

This case report reveals the importance of examination of oral cavity during autopsy. A woman was murdered by her husband using Electrocution as mode of homicide. A two way plug pin was kept in the mouth of woman and electric current was used as weapon. The cause of death came out only after examination of oral cavity during postmortem examination, though most of the cases of electrocution are accidental but it can be homicidal as well. Therefore it concludes that thorough examination of each and every part of body prevent the negligence on part of autopsy surgeon and helps Judiciary for proper Justice
