Abstract

Five cases of Homicide-Suicide were studied. The aim of this study was to identify the type of perpetrator and victim, relationship between perpetrator and victim, method of homicidesuicide and factors responsible for committing homicide-suicide. The assailants and victims were family members. The major factors responsible for homicide-suicide episodes was domestic quarrel (3 cases), infidelity (1 case), and predominantly financial stress (1 case).
