Analysis of intermingling english language and Indian constitution

Abstract

India is a country of languages because there are more than two languages in which official work is occurring in India. There are more than 20 official languages that are included in Constitution. There are many more dialects which are been spoken across India in various parts. But English as a language has been there in India for more than 200 years. It is always been considered as the most sorted spoken language. It is essential to understand that English as a foreign language entered India along with British people, but now a vast majority are speaking this language. It is now one of the official working languages of India. In this research, paper the researcher will be working on how the Indian constitution has adopted English as a language. It is also necessary to understand that how English language influence started in India, how it gained popularity in reforms like Raja Mohan Roy to freedom leaders like Mahatma Gandhi, Sadar Patel and so on. The researcher will also examine the place of English language in the National Education Policy 2020. Hence it will be an evaluation of the English language and its intermingling with the Indian Constitution.
