Associate Professor,
From the first narrative of a thirsty crow, to the experiences around us, our lives are punctuated with stories. They will live on till the perpetuity. But can their metamorphosed forms on the internet be as appealing as the dramas of Shakespeare, narrated by Charles and Mary Lamb? The literary stories have their own intrigues and turns, can the modern stories in the digital space compete with them. The content creation is increasing by leaps and bounds. With all the possible innovations and experimentations storytelling has taken the form of mini tales. With more stories being churned out than the listeners, the question about their literary value will always be asked. This paper explores the literary worthiness of bit-sized, digital and popular culture induced tiny tails.
