Eco-Aesthetics in the Short Stories of Tagore: A Cultural Perspective

Abstract

Rabindranath Tagore -the iconic figure of World Literature has contributed incessantly to the developing realms of Environmental Studies with a prime concern to preserve aesthetically and culturally of course the divine rapport of Man and Nature in the absolute unity of the composite universality. In the orbit of this profuse pedagogy of Ideas, the present study aims to explore the intrinsic philosophy of the human – nonhuman rapport in the rich narratives of the short stories of Tagore.
