An anti-microbial sulfated oleane triterpenoid triglycosides characterized as 3-β-sulphate olean ester-28-O-β-D-glucopyranosyl (1→3)-α-L-rhamnopyronsyl (1→4)-α-L-rhamnopyranoside, have been isolated from the aerial parts of Rhododendron anthopogon on the basis of chemical and spectroscopic evidences.
