This paper highlights the knowledge on the uses of the Termitomyces spp. by the different ethnic castes and community inhabiting in the tarai, siwalik and mid-hills of Nepal. Samples were collected from the forest of different ecological zones, between 2010–2012 with their edibility, seasonal availability and nutraceutical relevance. Ninteen taxa species of Termitomyces spp. were discussed with food and medicinal significance. Its documentation in different social, cultural and ethno medicinal practices in different parts of the nation would be very important to sensitize the communities.
