Abstract

3,11-dioxy-olean-12-ene-30-oic acid (1), 3β-acetoxy-olean-12-ene-30-oic acid (2), 3β-O-acyl-olean-12-ene-30-oic acid ester (3), 3α,20-lupandiol (4), and 3-hydroxyurs-12-ene-30-oic acid (5) and stevioside (6) were isolated, for the first time, from the flowers and leaves of Ixora javanica. The structures of the isolated compounds (1–6) were elucidated on the basis of IR, 1H and 13C NMR and Mass spectral data.
