Traditional use of medicinal plants: A report from Pahari community of subdivision Mendhar, District Poonch, Jammu & Kashmir, India

Abstract

The present study was conducted to document the ethno-medicinal plants and their usage by Pahari community of subdivision Mendhar, of district Poonch, J&K, India. A total of 72 plants species belonging to 48 families were identified in the area which were used by the local Pahari inhabitants as medicine, which needs to be documented for the preservation and conservation.
