The grain and straw yield and nitrogen content in various plant parts at different growth stages of Frenchbean increased progressively with every higher levels of irrigation schedules and nitrogen levels from 0 to 120 kg/ha. The content in leaf, stem, and pods was higher at the early growth stages and it was constant towards reproductive growth stages to harvest. The total ‘N’ content plant increased progressively towards advancing age of the crop. The ‘N’ and ‘K’ contents (kg/ha) increased significantly at increased of increased levels of irrigation and nitrogen levels. While ‘P’ content (kg/ha) significantly in the ear head. The protein content (%) significantly increased at increased nitrogen levels.
