Agro-morphological characterization of diverse germplasm of lentil (Lens culinaris medik.)

One hundred germplasm accessions of lentil (Lens culinaris Medik.) of diverse origin were evaluated for 27 (15 qualitative and 12 quantitative) agro-morphological characters. A wide range of diversity could be obtained for different characters in the materials studied. Several potential accessions have been identified which can be used in genetic analysis and lentil improvement programmes.
