On account of reforms being initiated through Economic Liberalization Policy and becoming member of World Trade Organization, India has an opportunity to integrate its business with global market for sustaining its economic growth. A process of revolutionary came into being in the agricultural, industrial and services sectors exposure to the international market forces. Though Indian agriculture share in GDP declined from 55 per cent in 1950–51 to 17 per cent in 2008–09, it pro vllies livelihood security to 65–70 per cent of population and employs a two-third of workforce. Subscribing that Indian textile was a golden bird, Robert Clive said that “India is as extensive popular and as rich as the city of London;” Anecdotal evidence is thrown light on fact that India is increasingly becoming integrated with world. India has become member of World Trade organization with motto to reap more benefits byexporting products of agriculture, manufactured and services sectors. Has this India been achieved? Could these sectors progress accelerated? The analysis of this papersuggests that to what extent India's participation in global market influences its economic affairs and strongly addresses its challenges.
