Abstract

India strongly deserves to serve as a role model with regard to rural BPO centres. In recent times, all the prerequisites for the overall growth of the rural BPO units are fully made available. There are a few success stories too. It is high time that efforts were initiated to further strengthen the thought and support of the activities towards this direction.

Cooperatives in rural areas can involve themselves in the growth and development of BPO sector in rural India. It would attract many eligible/prospective employees and make educated rural unemployed, particularly which of the women there be stratified with local employment respectable salary. It may bring down the stress created by the present economic crisis of the western world.
