The germplasm/genetic material contains promising traits related to yield & yield attributing characters, quality characters and also resistance to various biotic and abiotic stresses. Germplasm of diverse crops were supplied to various potential users (breeders/crop improvement workers) in the country for its evaluation and further utilization In their ongoing/ensuing crop Improvement works. Crop Improvement worker were requested to provide the performance report of germplasm (exotic and indigenous) supplied to them aiong with the promising trait's observed in supplied material if any. On the basis of information received from users/workers, promising accessions are identified in various crops is presented below. The emphasis of this article on promising accessions is to generate awareness among the workers engaged in the breeders/crop improvement works. By utilizing information available here they can plan/reorient their crop improvement works to meet out the national security on food first and quality food later on. This presentation is boon for willing researchers in particular and armoring communities in genera land nation as whole.
