Abstract

A field experiment was conducted to study the effect of vermicompost and YAM Inoculation on growth and yield of cauliflower (Brasslca oleraceae var. botrytls L.). Treatments comprised three levels of vermicompost (4, 8 and 12 t/ha) and three levels of VAM (1.0, 1.5 and 2.0 kg/ha) along with a control. Experiment was laid out in "Factorial Randomized Block Design" with three replications. Results revealed that the higher level of vermlcompost (12 tlha) or VAM (2.0 kg/ha) caused significant Increase In growth and yield of cauliflower. Interaction of higher levels of vermlcompost (12 t/ha) and YAM (2.0 Kg/ha) significantly Increased curd diameter, curd weight and yield per hectare.
