An experiment was conducted to study the genotypic divergence for grain yield along with different morphological characters under normal, late and very late sown conditions. Genotypic divergence was carried out according to Mahalanobis D2 statistics. The 50 genotypes were grouped into 4 clusters under normal, late and very late sown conditions revealing the presence of wide range of genotypic variation. Inter cluster D2 values ranged from under normal sown condition, from under late sown condition and from under very late sown condition. Genotypes MUW 98, WH503, PBW503 and HD789 (cluster IV under normal, late and very late sown conditions) exhibited grain yield character. These can be used to transfer this trait into poor grain yield and poor adopted genotypes to develop wheat varieties for various agro ecological conditions.
