Abstract

Different strains of Pseudomonas fluorescens was isolated, identified and evaluated from Fusarium rhizosphere by bio chemical tests. The isolate was evaluated by dual culture method, the pathogen was completely inhibited at 1: 4 ratio. The results revealed that maximum inhibition of mycelial growth was observed at different concentration of seed application and soil application against control. The mechanism of Pseudomonas fluorescens namely the iron chelating agent (siderophore), HCN and antibiotic (fluorescein and pyocanin)production tests were studied. The seed applications and soil application of Pseudomonas fluorescens reduced the fungal incidence and increases the shoot and root length.
