Abstract

The present study was conducted in two districts and of western Uttar Pradesh. Each district two blocks randomly selected. Thus the total four blocks were finally considered for the research. A study was conducted with 160 respondents were selected under the study The study revealed that high cost involved in lack of technical help was one of the major constraints among various problems related to intercropping. High cost of implements is the leading constraints among various problems related to improved implements. High cost of fertilizers, Lack of technical help, Lack of knowledge, scarcity of labour, Complexity of practices, Small size of land holding, high cost of chemical for sugarcane growers.
