Abstract

The experimental was laid out at Horticultural research farm of C.C.R. (P.G.) College Muzaffarnagar(U.P.) during the year 2008–09. The optimisation of Nitrogen application for root radish 80 kg nitrogenper hectare was found better for height of plant length of the root diameter of root roots yield per hectarein comparison of higher dose of Nitrogen 150 kg nitrogen per hectare and controlled the studies werecarried out to observe the effect of various nitrogen levels (0, 40, 80 & 150 kg/ha) on growth and yield ofradish.
