Hippophae rhamnoides (sea buckthorn) commonly known as Leh- Berry is a unique medicinal and aromatic shrub belongs to family Elaegnaceae. It is hardy, drought and cold resistant plant useful for land reclamation and known for its root nodules. Present study aims with germination of Hippophae spp in different conditions. The seed germination study was conducted by using various treatments and conditions. This will help in preparation of repository of germplasm (seedlings) for plantation drive of this species in near future.
