Vegetables are integral to a healthy diet due to their exceptional nutritional quality and numerous health benefits. They are a rich source of essential nutrients, including vitamins, minerals, and dietary fibre, which are vital for maintaining overall health and preventing chronic diseases. Vegetables provide low-calorie, nutrient-dense options that support cardiovascular health, enhance digestive function, and bolster immune defences. Additionally, they are abundant in phytochemicals such as antioxidants and anti-inflammatory compounds, which contribute to their role in disease prevention and health promotion. This abstract highlights the importance of incorporating a diverse array of vegetables into daily nutrition to leverage their health benefits, underscoring their role in fostering long-term well-being and improving quality of life.
