A Review Study: Bactericidal Properties of Ganoderma Lucidum

In recent years, there has been a notable surge in the global interest in edible herbs for health care and promotion. Because of its many beneficial secondary metabolites, Ganoderma lucidum is a woody-textured forest fungus that has been utilized since ancient times to improve health and prevent and treat a variety of ailments. Numerous cellular mechanisms, including those related to increasedcellular immunity, anti-viral, anti-bacterial, anti-cancer, and antioxidant activity, have been postulated thus far to explain the actions of the active metabolites and the health and hygienic qualities of this important medicinal fungus. The scientific literature on the antibacterial qualities of the therapeutic fungus G. lucidum is reviewed in this article.
