An experiment was carried out in the Horticulture Garden of C. S. Azad University of Agriculture and Technology, Kanpur (U.P.) during 2023, using nine treatments viz., GA3 at 20 and 50ppm, NAA at 15 and 30ppm along with their combinations including a control (water spray) on twenty-six years old plant of aonla cv. NA-7 replicated thrice in Randomized Block Design. From the experiment, it is reported that higher concentration of GA3 @ 50 ppm + NAA @ 30 ppm significantly reduced fruit drop (18.84%) and increased fruit retention (81.16%). It also gave maximum fruit yield (211kg/plant), increased fruit length (3.74cm), fruit width (4.97cm), fruit weight (30.02g), fruit volume (27.79cc), specific gravity (1.08g/cc), pulp weight (28.68g) and maximum pulp: stone ratio (21.41). Plants treated with GA3 @ 50ppm + NAA @ 30ppm also resulted in an increase in ascorbic acid (605.49mg/100g), TSS (12.150Brix) and total sugar (9.81%) content. GA3 @ 50ppm + NAA @ 30ppm significantly reduces the stone weight (1.34g) and acidity (1.72 %) under the plains of northern India.
