Mango mealybug, Drosicha mangiferae (Green) is a serious, dilapidating, polyphagous, dimorphic and notorious pest of mango crop in Indian sub-continent. In an attempt to manage this pest different formulations of biopesticides viz., Azadirachtin (T1), Aavya (T2), Neem soap (T3), Pongomia Soap (T4), three concentration of Metarhizium anisopilae (T5, T6 and T7) and Imidacloprid 17.8SL as standard check (T8) were tested under field conditions during the year 2021 and 2022. The post hoc analysis of data pertaining to field efficacy of biopesticide treatments suggested that Azadirachtin (2.64±0.59 and 2.85±0.64/panicle/twig) and Neem soap (3.37±0.71 and 3.63±0.75/panicle/twig) was found most effective against mealy bug population. Among three different concentration of microbial biopesticide, M. anisopliae at a concentration of 0.1% recorded lowest mean insect population (4.06±0.42 and 4.38±0.45/panicle/twig) during both experimental years.
