An experiment was conducted to study the yield stability and to identify the genotypes which exploited favourable weather but minimum loss when encountered with sub optimum inputs conditions. The experimental material comparised 8 genotypes belonging to Rapeseed (B. napus L.) was evaluated over a range of 15 created environments for three years in intermediate hill zone of Jammu region. The stability analysis of the genotypes following the (1) was performed. Environment and G x E interaction effects were highly significant. On the basis of performance and stability parameters, genotypes ISN-114 and ISN-129 were most stable with respect to high seed yield.
