Abstract

The extension research is mused for the need based research for the rural youths and farmer. Training cources must be mostly needs of the in-service traiees/specific interest groups. Need based training courses are designed for different types of clientele. While designing the courses, the concept of farming system is taken into account to make the enterprises commercially viable. Extension is must to privitisation for the rural/young youths like that Agri-clinic, Krishi Paramarsh Kendra, Kishan Kendra and other this type of information centre also. The research is in agriculture in the laboratories is still growing inspite of all the odds and speed breakers. The speed of agricultural communication is very slow. The gap between lab to land is growing. So far only 20% technologies are reported to reach the farmers. The farmers of today's India are hungry for knowledge. The need knowledge about new varieties, new hybrids, new technologies of disease and pest control, bio-pesticides, organic farming, bio-agent, bio-fertilizers, growth promoters, post harvest handling export opportunities, new markes, value adding technologies and know about everything which can increasing their income.
