Abstract

To study the effect of herbicides on weed control in wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) at Baraut (Meerut). Among the treatments, the weed density and dry matter content of weeds was recorded highest in weedy uncontrolled (Tr1) treatments. Whereas, the growth parameters, yield contributing characters and yield of wheat was significantly higher in 2, 4-D + IPU @ 500 + 1000 g.a.i./ha (Tr5) treatment combination them all the treatments but it was at par with 2,4-D + IPU @ 500 + 750g a.i/ha (Tr4) treatments.
