Abstract

Seed protein pattern of fifteen soybean cultivars were analysed by PAGE. Based on similarity indices (0 to 70.0) showing the extent of heterogeneity or homogeneity in cultivars. Some genotypes showed unique band, which helps in identifying them, & indicated, close evolutionary relationship with other germplasm. Several genotypes can also be identified by presence or absence of a particular band (s).
