Dry rot of potato is a major yield constraint and accounts for enormous losses of potato crop throughout the world. Biological control measures are going to form an important component in the integrated management of this disease. Bacillus sp are the prom1sing biocontrol agents as they produce endosperms that are tolerant to heat and dessication. Biocontrol efficiency of the antagonists Bacillus pantothenticus and Bacillus sp was evaluated against dry rot pathogen (Fuscarium). These baceria strongly antagonized Fusarium spp in dual culture having an inhibition zone of 6 mm2 and 5 mm2 respectively.
