Inorganic transformation of added water soluble P in the form of nitrophosphate of different wsp i.e. 30, 50 and 80% was studied at two moisture levels i. e. 20% field capacity and waterlogged conditions in hill soils of Palampur, Himachal Pradesh. It was concluded that in both the water regime, percentage of added P recovered as Al-P. increased, that of Fe-P and Ca-P decreased as the period of incubation advanced. However, Al-P and Ca-P decreased and Fe-P increased as the WSP was raised. Most dominant P fraction was Al-P followed, by Fe-Pand the least Ca-P.
