Effect of GA₃ on the floral parameters of gladiolus cultivars

Friendship, white prosperity and Red Beauty cultivars produced relating longer spikes, more number of floret per spike but it delayed flowering time. GA₃ treatment at 150 ppm proved most effective in improving all the floral traits in gladiolus followed by its 100 ppm application. The interactive effect of GA₃ and gladiolus cultivars further improved the all floral parameters. The cultivar friendship at 150 ppm GA₃ application proved best for improving all the floral parameters.
