Numerous causes contributed to the BJP party’s stunning victory. Nationalistic sentiments have driven a wave of support for the BJP government at the federal level, especially in the wake of the Pulwama attack in Jammu & Kashmir that targeted security personnel. The level of transparency in the administration of the Haryana state government was a key factor in the Lok Sabha elections in the region. Additionally, the BJP and the Congress have swapped control of the Ambala parliamentary constituency, which is the focus of this study. Furthermore, the strong Modi wave that swept the country allowed the BJP to maintain its seat in Ambala in the face of opposition to the incumbent candidate and member of parliament. The current article also examines the role of caste in the Ambala Parliamentary constituency elections in addition to the variables.
