Indian Knowledge System is a systematic transfer of knowledge from generation to generation through oral, textual, and artistic traditions, based on Vedas, Upvedas, Upanishads, and Sutras. All these treatises impacted our education, administration, law, justice, literature, and health. Traditional knowledge was not only a tradition but a well-structured system and process that may be used to inculcate the transfer of knowledge in people, communities, and humanity for the establishment of a holistic and humane society. Our knowledge system is not just about philosophy and spirituality; it is a way of life and provides a unique perspective to solve the current challenges of India. Indian culture and social life are a unique example of the interdependence of all beings based on the core values of ‘Well-being of all’ to attain the idea of ‘Vasudeva Kutumbkam’ (The whole universe is one family) and Sarva Bhavantu Sukhaiah (may all be happy). To inspire the new generation, there is a need to explain, clarify, and restate the content, significance, and relevance of the Indian Knowledge System on many issues that are of vital importance to mankind today. The need of the hour is the holistic development of the individual and society based on our glorious heritage.
