Abstract

Effect of seed treatment with bioagents viz. Trichoderma harzianum (Th 38), T. viride and Pseudomonas fluorescens (Pf 2) each @ 15g/kg of seed alone or in combination with Captan @ lg/kg along with standard treatment of Captan @ 2g/kg of seed was seen on wilt of pea. Minimum per cent of wilted plants (6.2 and 6.0% resulting 68.2% and 67.5% disease control) was observed in case of seed treatment with Captan (2g/kg of seed) followed by seed treatment with combination of Pseudomonas fluorescens @ 15g/kg of seed + Captan@ 1 g/kg of seed (6.2 and 6.2% of wilted plants with 67.9% and 66.4% disease control) during 2006 and 2007, respectively. Similarly, maximum yield (17.0 and 17.1 q/acre) was obtained in case of seed treatment with Captan (2g/kg of seed) followed by 16.8 and 17.0 q/acre in case of seed treatment with Pseudomonas fluorescens + 1 g Captan/kg of seed.
