Abstract

Two new pathotypes 93R45 and 49R45 of Puccinia triticina (brown rust) on wheat are described. Both the pathotypes appear to be one step mutation for Lr 10 and Lr 20, respectively. The avirulence/virulence formulae of both the pathotypes, their differentiating characters and resistant varieties released recently have been identified.
