Evaluation of bio formulations of local strains of Trichoderma against pea root rot/wilt complex
Abstract
Twenty five bio-formulations, developed from up scaling of four local strains of Trichoderma - two each of T. Koningii (DMA-8 and JMA-11) and T. harzianum (JMA-4 and SMA-5), were tested against pea root rot/wilt complex pathogens in Lahaul district during May, 2010 and 2011. The pooled data of two years testing on pea root rot/wilt disease complex revealed that seed treatment with two bio formulations viz., TBD and TBB-1 @ 4gm/kg seed were found effective to yield 67.4 and 55.7% disease control respectively. All other formulations remained statistically at par or below to cabendazim 50 WP (2.0g/kg seed) kept as standard check, resulting 41.6% disease control.
