Agaricomycetous fungi include all those members of class Agaricomycetes (Phylum Basidiomycota and Subphylum Agaricomycotina) which have hymenomycetous or gasteroid fruiting bodies, two to eight spored basidia, perforate to imperforate parenthesomes (Kirk et al., 2008). Present work is an outcome of extensive fungal forays conducted during the rainy months of the years 1987- 2011 in Himachal Pradesh, a biodeiversity rich state of north-western Himalaysas. Of the coniferous species, Cedrus deodara, a large evergreen tree growing in the 1500–3200 m altitude range, is one of the dominant species covering around 811 km square forest area. It is in great demand as building material because of its durability. More than 300 collections of resupinate, non-poroid agaricomycetous fungi have been made in the course of times which belong to 109 taxa and 44 genera. Of the 44 genera 12 are new records for India and 10 new for H.P. and of the 109 taxa, 7 are new species (Ceraceomyces bizonatus, C. minutibasidicystidiatus, Hyphoderma himachalensis, H. microbasidispora, Laeticorticium pachypleurasporium, Phlebiopsis mussooriensis, Vararia pergrandispora), 2 new varieties (Amphinema byssoides var. macrosporus, Ceraceomyces microsporus var. augustisporus), 33 new records for India (Athelia bombacina, Aleurodiscus lividocoerulus, A. lapponicus, Boidinia laeticolor, Botryobasidium candicans, B. obtusisporum, Ceraceomyces sublaevis, Certobasidium obscurum, Coniophora virdis, C. fusispora, Crustoderma corneum, C. testatum, Laeticorticium roseum, Leptosporomyces galzinii, Hyphoderma clavigerum, H. medioburiense, H. orphanellum, H. deviatum, H. luridum, H. roseocremeum Hyphodontia pileacystidiata, H. breviseta, Hypochnicium subrigescens, Hymenochaete fuliginosa, Phlebia segregata, P. queletii, Phlebiella ardosiaca, P. candidissima, Scytinostroma aluta, Sistotrema subtrigonospermum, S. brinkmannii, Tubulicrinis calothrix, T. confusus) and 14 species (Coniophora olivascens, C. cordensis, C. putaenea, Fibulomyces mutabilis, Laeticorticium roseum, Leptosporomyces roseus, Radulomyces confluens, Tomentella atramentaria, T. fimbriata, Tubulicrinis strangulatus, T. subulatus, Vararia sphaericospora, V. rhodospora) first time in association with C. deodara.
