Abstract

Evaluation of different fungicides against mango leaf spots caused by Pestalotiopsis mangiferae At Doraha, all the fungicides tested gave significant reduction of disease as compared to control. The minimum leaf area damage i.e. 0.97 was in Dithane M-45 (0.3%), followed by Tilt 25EC (0.1%), Blitox 50WP (0.3%), Folicur 20EC (0.1%) and Bavistin 50WP (0.1%). At Baddowal, the minimum leaf area damaged (0.15) was with Bavistin 0.1% and it was at par with Dithane M-45 + Bavistin 50WP and Tilt 25EC. Blitox 50WP was next best treatment with 1.94 leaf area damage. Evaluation of Different Fungicides against Jamun Leaf spots caused by Pestalotiopsis. All the fungicides tested gave significant reduction of disease as compared to control. The minimum photosynthetic area damaged was in Bavistin 0.1% and it was at par with, Dithane M-45 + Bavistin 50WP and Tilt 25EC. Dithane M-45 was the next best treatment. Evaluation of Different Fungicides against Mulberry Leaf Spots caused by Cercospora sp. (Doraha) Bavistin 50WP (0.1%), Tilt 25EC (0.1%), Dithane M-45 (0.3%), Blitox 50WP (0.3%) proved highly effective in checking the disease. Bavistin 50WP (0.1%) was with least leaf area damaged and 98.6 per cent reduction of disease over control.
