Abstract

Rapeseed-mustard calli formed on MS medium containing NAA 1 mg−1+ BAP 1 mg−l and culture filtrate of Sclerotinia sclerotiorum were subjected to oxidative enzyme analysis. Supplementation of different concentrations of culture filtrate in callusinduction medium increased thetotal soluble protein in tolerant calli of all the genotypes upon sub-culturing. Activity of oxidative enzymes viz., polyphenol oxidase, and peroxidase increased in tolerant calli with the increase in concentration of culture filtrate whereas catalase activity increased in susceptible calli in response to increase in concentration of culture filtrate.
