Abstract

The talc based bioformulation of Trichoderma asperellum and Pseudomonas fluorescens were evaluated for their shelf life at different temperatures (ambient, 25°C, 4°C and 0°C). The initial microbial count for the fungal antagonists (T. asperellum) was 3.3×108 Cfu/g at zero day which was reduced to 6.9×103 after 210 days at ambient temperature and to 2.9×104 after 365 days at zero temperature. For the bacterial antagonist i.e. P. fluorescens the initial inoculum density at zero day was 2.6×108 which gradually decreased to 3.7×105 after 210 days at ambient temperature and to 3.3×104 after 365 days at 0°C.
