Abstract

Evaluation of 60 lines of chickpea revealed that none of the entries was found completely free from the disease however, 9 entries viz., CSJK-54, CSJ-515, GNG-1581, GNG-2207, GNG-2226, H-11-41, PG-0109, IPC-2010 72,IPc-2010-112 were categorized as resistant showing disease incidence of 1–10 per cent, while 13 entries showed moderately resistant reaction (10.1–20 per cent). rest of the genotypes exhibited susceptible (30.1–50 per cent) to highly susceptible (above 50 per cent) reactions to the pathogen.
