Abstract

Profiler 71.1 WG @ 2g, 3g and 4 g alongwith other fungicides viz., Fluopicolide 480 SC @ 4g, Aliette 80 WP @ 4g and Ridomil Gold 68 WP @ 2.5 g per litre of water were tested for their efficacy as soil drench using 10 liters water per tree from 2016–17 and 2017–18. Ridomil Gold 68 WP @ 2.5 g, Profiler 71.1 WG @ 3 g and 4g gave significantly highest reduction in trunk lesion size and per cent disease index and increase in feeder root density and fruit yield in the infected kinnow trees as compared to Profiler 71.1. WG @ 2g, Fluopicolide 480 SC and Aliette 80 WP each @ 4g. Profiler 71.1. WG @ 8g per litre of water did not show any phytotoxic effect on leaves, fruit surface and yield and was safe to use. The cent per cent growth inhibition of the pathogen was recorded in Profiler 71.1 WG and Ridomil Gold 68 WP at 10 μg/ml where as in Aliette 80 WP it was at 100 μg/ml. The Profiler 71.1 WG and Ridomil Gold 68 WP were found to be highly effective with ED50 value < 1 μg/ml and ED90 value < 10 μg/ml against the pathogen. the ED50 and ED90 value of Aliette 80 WP was < 100 μg/ml and <500 μg/ml, respectively. Profiler 71.1 WG @ 3g and 4g per litre of water can be used as alternative of Ridomil Gold 68 WP and Aliette 80 WP for the effective and safe management of the disease.
