A Survey Was Conducted to record the incidence of paddy bunt in major rice growing districts of haryana state viz., jind, kurukshetra, Yamunanagar, karnal, hisar, kaithal, sirsa, Fatehabad during 2015–2018. total of 2033 suspected samples were collected and analyzed, results showed among them 501 samples were found infected. The seed samples of commercially cultivated varieties of paddy were collected randomly from farmers as well as seed corporation processing plants of kurukshetra, Yamunanagar, karnal in haryana state. the observations were recorded in terms of number of samples tested, infected samples and average bunt infection. Data revealed that the average bunt infection was 0.082, 0.033, 0.014, and 0.010 for four consecutive years, respectively. the data of seed Corporations revealed the range of bunt infection was 0.010 to 0.022 during the survey period.
