Abstract

A field experiment was conducted to observe the impact of Priaxor (fluxapyroxad 167 g/l + pyraclostrobin 333 g/l SC) at various dosages along with standard chemicals against fungal foliar leaf spot (FFLS) at Department of Plant Pathology, Ludhiana for two years. Of the tested fungicides, Priaxor (fluxapyroxad 167 g/l + pyraclostrobin 333 g/l SC) exhibited significant per cent disease control (PDC) of 57.33 % and 61.1 % @ 0.5 ml/l of water over control treatment during year 2020 and 2021, respectively. Highest seed cotton yield of 23.90 and 22.27 quintal per acre was obtained with Priaxor (fluxapyroxad 167 g/l + pyraclostrobin 333 g/l SC) @ 0.5 ml/ litre of water. The standard check Amistar Top 325 EC showed maximum PDC (58.20 and 63.09 %) @ 1ml/l of water during both cropping seasons, respectively. Priaxor (fluxapyroxad 167 g/l + pyraclostrobin 333 g/l SC) did not show any phytotoxicity on the cotton crop in both the years, respectively. Therefore based on the observation of two years, Priaxor (fluxapyroxad 167 g/l + pyraclostrobin 333 g/l SC) effectively managed the malady under field condition.
