Abstract

Field experiments were conducted to study the effect of graded doses of nitrogen, FYM and Azospirillum on growth, yield and quality of fennel on a sandy loam soil during the year 2000–01 and 2001–02 at Horticulture Botanical Garden, K.A.P.G. College, Allahabad (U.P.). Results, shows that treatment T1 (100 per cent inorganic nitrogen alongwith FYM and Azospirillum) followed by treatment T2 (75per cent inorganic nitrogen alongwith FYM and Azospirillum) gave maximum response regarding growth, yield and quality attributes.
