Abstract

The present investigation was carried out to find out the effect of four different organic amendments (FYM, vermicompost, poultry manure and neem cake) on yield and quality of pear cultivar Gola. The results indicated that application of 40 kg vermicompost per tree significantly increased the yield and yield attributing characters. The quality parameters TSS, acidity, ascorbic acid content and reducing sugar content were also found best with the application of 40 kg vermicompost/tree.
