Abstract

Seven cultivars of gladiolus were evaluated for their growth, floral and corm production characters during 2003–2004 under Allahabad conditions. Cultivar White Prosperity produced longest spike, maximum number of florets/spike and big floret size, whereas American Beauty produced highest number of corms and cormels/plant as compared with remaining cultivars.
