Abstract

Kair (Capparis decidua Roth) is a fruit plant grown in wild state in arid and semiarid regions of the country. In southern Haryana conditions, flower initiation was observed on 28th March. Peak flowering was recorded on 6th April with 18 days of flowering duration. Fruit set began on 3rd April with 16 days of fruit set duration. 21 days were taken to maturity after full bloom. Colour break stage was observed on 30th April and 27 days were taken to ripening from the bloom.
