Abstract

Field experiment conducted at Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore during Kharif season of the year 2004 and 2005, to study the effect of inorganic nutrients and organic foliar spray on growth and yield of okra revealed that application of 100 percent recommended dose of fertilizers along with panchagavya spray (2 percent) significantly increased the growth attributing characters, yield attributing characters and fruit yield followed by 100 percent recommended dose of fertilizers along with vermiwash spray (2 percent) and 100 percent recommended dose of fertilizers along with effective microorganism spray (2 percent).
