Abstract

The present investigation was conducted at Regional Horticultural Research Station, ASPEE College of Horticulture and Forestry, Navsari Agricultural University, Navsari, during the year 2003–2004 to study the influence of GA3 and CCC on growth and flowering of tuberose Cv. ‘Single’. The treatments comprised three different concentration of GA3 (100,200 and 300 mg/l) and CCC (0.5, 1.0 and 1.5 ml/l) with three methods of application (bulbs dipping, spraying and dipping + spraying). Application of GA3 200 mg/l (dipping + spraying) was found to be most effective in improving the growth, flowering, quality and yield characteristics of tuberose.
